Call for applications for grants from the RSF

The RSF announces the start of accepting applications for three competitions: small individual scientific groups, small individual scientific groups together with the regions of Russia, individual scientific groups together with the regions of Russia.

Regional competitions

The main task of regional competitions is to involve and use the scientific potential of the subjects of the Federation to solve the problems of their socio-economic development.

The subjects themselves will determine those scientific and scientific-technical areas in which research is required. The amount of the grant for regional competitions is formed on a parity basis from the funds of the Russian Science Foundation and the funds of the constituent entity of the Russian Federation.

Examination of projects will be carried out by the expert council of the Russian Science Foundation for regional competitions.

Competition of small individual scientific groups (together with the regions of Russia)

Grants will be allocated for the implementation of fundamental and exploratory scientific research in 2023-2024 in all areas of knowledge of the RSF classifier.

The total number of members of the scientific team (together with the project leader) is from 2 to 4 people. The amount of one grant will be up to 1.5 million rubles annually.

Applications are accepted no later than 17:00 (Moscow time) October 10, 2022. The results will be announced in March 2023.

Competition of individual scientific groups (together with the regions of Russia)

Grants will be allocated for the implementation of fundamental and exploratory scientific research in 2023-2025 in all areas of knowledge of the RSF classifier.

The total number of members of the scientific team (together with the project leader) is from 4 to 10 people.

The amount of one grant will be from 4 to 7 million rubles annually.

Applications are accepted no later than 17:00 (Moscow time) October 10, 2022. The results will be announced in March 2023.

Competition of small individual scientific groups

Grants will be allocated for the implementation of fundamental and exploratory scientific research in 2023-2024 in all areas of knowledge of the RSF classifier. The main objective of the competition is to create the development of new topics for research teams (including the definition of the object and subject of research, drawing up a research plan, choosing research methods) and the formation of research teams.

The total number of members of the scientific team (together with the project leader) is from 2 to 4 people. The amount of one grant will be up to 1.5 million rubles annually.

Applications are accepted no later than 17:00 (Moscow time) June 15, 2022. The results will be announced in November 2022.

Projects will be reviewed by the RSF Expert Council for Scientific Projects.
