Dear colleague!

We invite you to take part in the IX International Conference “Mathematical Biology and Bioinformatics” (ICMBB22), which will be held by the Institute of Mathematical Problems of Biology - a branch of the Institute of Applied Mathematics. M.V. Keldysh RAS from 17 to 19 October 2022. This conference is held in the year of the 50th anniversary of our institute and will be dedicated to this significant event. After a long period of covid restrictions, we will be glad to see you at our institute.

The conference is a regularly held scientific event (once every two years), which presents new methods and main results obtained in the mathematical and information fields, effectively used in the biological sciences, as well as the results of mathematical description and analysis of biological systems in relevant areas of mathematical biology , biophysics, bioinformatics and nanobioelectronics. Considerable attention is paid to the use of high-performance computing systems of parallel and vector architectures in the study of complex biological systems. In addition to fundamental results, the conference will present works related to their implementation in applied areas - nanobiotechnology, biomedicine, pharmacology, computational ecology and modeling of complex surfaces of various objects.

The papers of the conference will be published in the online periodical Papers of the International Conference “Mathematical Biology and Bioinformatics” (ISSN: 2618-9305), each article in the collection will have a DOI. Articles can be published in Russian or English, regardless of the language chosen by the participant for the presentation of the report. Each article will be reviewed by the ICMBB Organizing Committee, based on the results of this review, a decision will be made on the acceptance of the report for the conference and the article for the collection.

•     Mathematical methods of data processing and analysis. Applications in biology, medicine, ecology and geoinformatics.
