An unexpected encounter in the sky

One Australian man was flying his HobbyKing Phoenix 2000 glider in a good thermal when suddenly one, then two and finally 3 eagles appeared seemingly out of nowhere. At least two 'strikes' or contacts were made with the glider, which was equipped with an on-board camera as well. Unfortunately the on-board camera stopped shortly before the eagles appeared but still good footage from the ground. Wingspan of the eagles was similar to the glider: 2 metres or 6+ feet! Despite the date on the plane-borne camera, this was recorded recently in South Australia.
