Forth update of the Library of environmental literature is completed. 947 new editions are placed in two sections of the library. 917 editions have been added to the "Shared Library" section (a total of 1670 editions now); 30 editions were added to the section Library of literature on geotechnologies for the protection and study of nature (totaling 101 editions).
Within the framework of the “Bird of the Year” campaign and in honour of the Bird of the Year 2021 – the Red-footed Falcon – admission of materials to the thematic collection of articles is announced.

Every year since 1996, the Russian Bird Conservation Union (RBCU) chooses the bird of the year. Environmental educational events and conservation actions, which take place throughout the year, are dedicated to this bird. The symbol of 2021 has become the Red-footed Falcon a member of genus Falco.
